19th century. Painted Tin. “Bark Sarah”. The Sarah was built at Rochester in 1824 for New Bedford Thomas Knowles & Co. In 1878 she capsized seven hours out of port with only three people saved. 10-1/4″ high x 14″ wide x 10-1/4″ deep. Age appropriate wear.
