19th c. West Indian shellwork double sailor’s valentine that reads THINK OF ME, right side; original mahogany box with chip carved decoration dated 1893. Each case 10″ x 10″. Provenance: Collection of Richard Mellon Scaife, sold at Rafael Osona Auctions 2014. Very good condition with minor loose shells. Case shows old split.
