V.D. Brenner – 1905 James McNeill Whistler plaque in silvered bronze inscribed “James McNeill Whistler, painter, etcher, author” with an image of Whistler with his hands on his hips and a butterfly logo. Signed V.D. Brenner upright corner. On the verso is the image of a peacock also signed V.D. Brenner. 2 1/2″ high, 3 1/2″ wide. Also includes a first day stamped cover envelope dated 1934 with two postage stamps depicting Whistler’s mother. Also a two-cent stamp with Whistler’s image and a 1909 copper penny. All are encased in custom-made plexiglass case.
