French Automaton doll, circa 1880, “Girl Knitting”, signed Tete Jumeau Depose. Bisque head with glass eyes. Head moves up and down as well as the tow hands in a knitting motion while playing music. She is seated with a footstool and basket on stand. Clothing looks original but shows wear and shattering. 17″ high, 10″ wide, 10″ deep. Currently working but not guaranteed. Stop and start pin is stuck in the on position. Key included.
