Circa 600-1550 AD. Light green serpentine with black linear striations. An exceptionally large bird man cohoba snuffer. Well carved bird head graces the center of the inhaler. Anthropic arms define the human element. Large swirls decorate the snuffing ports. When reversed, the back of the arms become bird heads. The size and fine workmanship suggest this belonged to an important shaman or Casique/priest. 2 1/8″ high x 3 7/8″ wide x 6 3/4″ long.
