Ca. 1895. A lump of gold bearing quartz set into a sterling silver base. The base is engraved “The Rico Aspen Consolidated Mining Co., Rico, Colorado, 1895, output high-grade silver and gold”. Also engraved on base “F. O. Mathiessen”. 2 1/4″ high x 4 1/8″ diameter. Overall good condition, small dent on base. 17.67 total ozt.
