Large vellum prayer leaf The Annunciation. Spanish, probably circa 1500, rendered in ink, watercolor and gold. Colorful floral border with a round portrait of the Virgin and an angel, Sight size 20″ x 14 3/4″ with frame 27 1/4″ x 20 3/4″. Good condition, has not been removed from frame.
