19th century. Face is signed “Simon Willard, Boston MA”. Mahogany case with brass urn finial, white metal dial with black Arabic numerals beneath brass and glass bezel. Gilt wood rope-molded case with reverse painted glass panels depicting a village scene with a castle and ship in harbor. Pendulum and key included. 42″ high x 10″ wide x 4″ deep. Brass finial is likely a replacement. Gilded support bracket also a later replacement. Otherwise good condition. Working condition unknown.
