Some sculptors include J Mason (1743), J Wood (1746), Daveres (1741). Many have moderate to heavy foxing. Some have tears to edges and chipping. (2) Smaller 19th c. engravings of French battle scenes by Colin. 9″ x 12 1/2″. (1) Watercolor on paper 19th c. Orientalist street scene with seated figures, probably Morocco. By Samuel Colman (1832-1920), New York and California. He was a member of National Academy of Design. In the 1870s he travelled to North Africa where he created his best works. 19″ x 14 3/4″. It has a 2″ tear at bottom and some paper loss at right bottom corner.
