Decorated pair of 19th c. teeth. Decorated with flower filled urn over mountainous harbor scene with paddlewheel steamer in foreground (recto) and memorial tower flying two American flags with continuation of same harbor scene and lighthouse (verso); 11″ L x 2 3/4″ base width. Second tooth decorated with castle-like fortress flying American flag with sailing bark underway (recto), and crucifix on box with foliate border above busy harbor scene with lighthouse (verso); 6-5/8″ L x 2 3/4″ base width. Natural cracks, minor chips and losses on both teeth and evidence of older repairs to tip of second tooth, but both present well.
