New York and Holland. Oil painting on canvas. Depicting an ocean race. Unsigned but identified on verso with an old gallery exhibition label from the Century Club, May 15th, 1900. This was number 33 of 93 sketches exhibited by De Haas. The gallery certificate is signed by JC Nicholl to Mr. Charles Isham. Sight size 13″ x 19 3/4″. In a period carved and gilded frame which shows minor losses to gesso, 17″ x 23 1/4″. Black light reveals no inpainting.
