In the original carved and gilded frame. Sight size 12″ high by 9″ wide. Overall 17″ high by 15 1/4″ wide. Shows some craquelure and some loss to gilt on frame. Mary Lizzie Macomber was a Pre-Raphaelite painter born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was a student of Robert Spear Dunning before studying further at the school of Boston Museum of Fine Arts.
