Sight size 5″ high by 4 1/2″ wide. Overall 9 1/4″ high by 8 3/4″ wide. Overall very good condition. Mary Lizzie Macomber was a Pre-Raphaelite painter born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was a student of Robert Spear Dunning before studying further at the school of Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Much of Macomber’s work was lost in a fire in her studio in 1903.
