Dated 1926. Titled New England Evening. An oil on canvas landscape painting of a forest, possibly Hancock, New Hampshire. Signed and dated lower left. The painting is housed in a period carved and gilded frame with old Jordan Marsh label. On the verso is a label from the Boston Athenaeum Library dated 1982.Sight size 18″ h x 22″ w. Overall 25 1/4″ h x 29″ w. Overall very good condition. Perry was close friends with Claude Monet, her brother-in-law was John La Farge, she was also a founder of the Guild of Boston Artists.
