Late 19th century. Meiji Period Tansu chest in a diminutive size, with iron hardware. 23″ high x 21 1/2″ wide x 11 1/2″ deep. Old natural finish with age appropriate wear. Provenance: From the estate of Alan Gaines of A & A Gaines Antiques, Newport, Rhode Island.
