It depicts scenes of ships including the Dutch East India Company, missionaries converting people to Christianity and converts and missionaries being executed by beheading and being burnt at the stake. In the center is an image of Madonna and Child. Signed lower left. In a modern gilt frame. Framed under glass. Sight size 16 1/2″ by 13″. Overall size 25 1/2″ by 21 3/4″. Shows paint loss throughout.
