This poster commemorates Ted Williams’ final time at bat at Fenway when he hit a 450 ft home run, the 521st of his career. The poster is additionally signed lower left James M. Amore, 90. Sight size 19 3/4″ x 15 1/2″, with frame 24″ x 20″. Along with a book titled “The Teammates”, 2003, 8vo. Signed on the title page Bobby Doerr, Dom DiMaggio, and Johnny Pesky, as well as the author, David Halbestan. Original dust jacket. Provenance: the estate of John D. Gibbons, Mattapoisett. Comes with a photograph of Dom DiMaggio shaking hands with John D. Gibbons. They were close personal friends and lived in adjacent towns. Good condition.
