(2) illuminated manuscripts Book of Zephaniah, circa 1170-1180 A.D., Latin, Hebrew God Guards. It consists of the denunciation of Judah for idolatry and wealth, sight size 9 1/4″ x 6 1/4″. In a Victorian gilt frame 12 1/2″ x 9 1/2″, probably on vellum or parchment with some light foxing. We did not remove from the frame along with a circa 1300 A.D. page in Latin on vellum or parchment numbered in the upper right corner #146, sight size 9 1/4″ x 6 1/2″. Shows some staining. In a gold gilt 6frame 11 1/2″ x 9 3/4″. Text is written in single column, 23 lines in Gothic book hand in black and red ink. There are 6 large letters in blue and gold.
