Highly unusual Victorian wicker sewing basket. Retains Heywood Wakefield celluloid maker’s label. Marked on bottom with Heywood Bros Wakefield Co. label. Has an unusual heart shaped top and bottom shelf. Original natural finish. 29″ high, 18″ wide, 18″ deep. Overall good condition with minor imperfections. Provenance: Mary Jean McLaughlin estate.
