Comes with early receipt from Joe Kindig & Son Antiques, dated 1961. 51” long, stock shows several areas of old repair, old finish. Along with a powder horn, dated June 4, 1710, engraved floral design. Listed in Grancsay book #997, also purchased from Joe Kindig, Jr. & Son, 10 1/2” long. Both come with old receipts including original receipt from Joe Kindig Jr & Son, August 1962 and books titled, “The Kentucky Rifle” by John G. W. Dillin, with original slip case, “Berk’s County Long Rifles and Gun Makers, 1750-1900” by Patrick Hornberger, and “Artistic Ingredients of the Long Rifle” by Joe Kindig III.
