19th century. American. Possibly from a ship’s pilot house or an architectural element on a building. Has a wonderful old patinaed surface. Unusually large. Eagle is perched on a large gilded ball and mounted on a modern stand. Eagle measures: 21″ high x 48″ wing span x 10″ deep. With the stand it measures 34″ high. Good condition with age appropriate wear.
