19th century. Burled walnut veneer with oak secondary wood. Shaped fitted interior with secret compartment. Two part construction, base has a drawer. Cabriole legs with trifed feet. 37 1/2″ high x 21″ wide x 17″ deep. Good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Alan Gaines of A & A Gaines Antiques, Newport, Rhode Island.
