Dated 1750. Probably English. Walnut. Lift top has a molded edge. Metal strap hinges. Old iron lock. Heavily carved foliate design on three sides. Dovetailed borders. Compressed ball feet. Secret compartment with drawer. Old finish, possibly original. 16″ high x 26″ wide x 16 1/4″ deep. Good overall condition. One large age separation on lid.
