(4) Connecticut Woodland baskets, early 19th century. Probably made by Pequot, Mohegan, and Paugussett people. Rectangular with polychrome geometric designs, to include small handled basket 3″ high, 6″ wide, 4″ deep, small piece of wrap missing. Rectangular handleless splint basket, 3 3/4″ high, 7 1/2″ wide, 6″ deep, good condition. Rectangular handled basket, 5 1/2″ high, 10 3/4″ wide, 8 1/4″ deep, slight wrap loss. Large rectangular basket, as is condition, 6 3/4″ high, 14″ wide, 9 3/4″ deep, 1 handle missing, roughness to corners.
