Connecticut Highboy. Second half 18th-century. Primary wood is cherry with pine secondary. Made in Coastal Connecticut, possibly New London. Full bonnet with flame urn finials. Carved rosettes. Dental molded trim. Two shell carved drawers. Reeded quarter columns. Cabriole legs, ending in pad feet. Old refinished condition. Replaced brasses. Some minor restoration and wear to drawers. 91 1/2″ high by 40 3/4″ wide by 20″ deep. The top case is 36″. The top drawer is marked with the initials, A B.
