Rare Incised Ovoid Stoneware Jar. Late 18th / early 19th century. Attributed to the Corlius family of New York. Incised floral design with incised leaves. Verso shows blue tree design, crock out of shape. Shows an in-firing dent on side. 13″ high x 10 1/2″ diameter. Age-appropriate wear. Minor chip to base and slight hairline crack to base.
