Circa 600-1500 AD. A Pre-Columbian carved bowl from basalt. The bowl features to zoomorphic figures draped over the edge of the bowl the heads protrude and arms join on the outside of the bowl. A band of bird head symbols is carved around the top of the rim and a larger band underneath. 3″ h x 9″ w x 7 3/4″ d. Good overall condition.
