Circa 600-1500 AD. A superbly sculpted zemi depicting human to bat transition. This is indicated by huge bat like ears, turned up nose and peculiarly small mouth. The back legs support human intent, while configured to represent a spider head. The sides of the cone depict, a spirit face, swirl eyes and large open mouth. Bat representations in zemis are extremely rare. 6″ h x 10 1/2″ l x 5 1/4″ w. Good overall condition.
