(French/German, 1828 – 1899). Oil on canvas. Signed lower right. Ultraviolet light shows extensive restoration. Sight size 12″ high x 16 1/2″ wide. In a carved and gilded period frame measuring 17 1/2″ high x 10 1/2″ wide. Frame shows some loss to gesso.
