Early 20th c., to include the following all sleeved in plastic: A) Rare 1917 Italian language poster from the United States Food Administration: “Food Will Win the War!”, designed by Charles Edward Chambers. 30″ x 20″. Pinholes, old tape repair, some tears / staining along margin. Fold and minor losses. Overall good condition. B) Cardinal Mercier, designed by Illion. 28-1/4″ x 20-1/2″. Pinholes at top. Some small tears along edges. Overall good condition. C) Italian language food propaganda poster, designed by Illion. 28″ x 20-1/2″. Shows pinholes on top margin, some creases, tears along right edge. Minor losses and tear on bottom edge. Overall good condition. D) Polish language Kosciuszco Pulawski poster designed by Illion. 28″ x 20-3/4″. Pinholes at top. Minor roughage to edges. Overall good condition. E) Y.W.C.A. “For Every Fighter, A Woman Worker”, designed by Adolph Treidler. 40″ x 30-1/4″. Pinholes, minor loss to edge at upper right. Small tears and creases.
