Includes hardwood scabbard with silver mounts. 27 1/2″ long. Blade shows wear and use including minor chipping to blade edge. Scabbard shows minor wear. C) Possibly Japanese 19th century sword with sharkskin scabbard and embossed dragon. Intricately carved openwork bone handle with carved face on the end and figures in the interior. 30″ long. Bone handle shows some losses. Small dent in the base of the metal mouth of the scabbard. Age appropriate wear elsewhere.
