1608 edition of The English Martyrologue, extremely rare and important, small octavo in original vellum binding, complete on 356 pages including the Alphabetical Table of Martyred Saints. Very good condition. This copy is from the famous Weld Library at Lulworth Castle and is one of a handful of copies known in North America. Other copies are in the Boston Athenium, Harvard University, the Folger Museum and the Huntington Library.
